02.03.09 Sigmund Skard did a performance for us. Skard is born in 1952 in Sveio, Hordaland. He is a student at the National Academy of Art ( MA), where he has been studying since 2004. Sigmund is also educated as a teacher from Høgskolen Stord/Haugesund, and in Lærarhøskolen, Volda. His works are a long research to get to new forms of known and everyday materials. They have strong conceptual and minimalistic features and some politics as well.He works across techniques, blending them very often. Skard expresses himself through sculpture, performance, photo and video.
